Exciting news for the Lloydminster Border Blades! Our club received a $5000 grant from the 2017 Intact Insurance / Intact Assurance Podium Tracker grant draw. This program is a partnership between Speed Skating Canada and Intact Insurance to ensure the growth of local clubs. 99 Canadian clubs submitted applications, and we were one of the seven winners!
Since 2010, Intact Insurance has donated $285,000 to local clubs across Canada. We will be using the grant money to invest in our Long Track program by purchasing LT boots and blades.
A big thank you to Intact Insurance and Speed Skating Canada from the Lloydminster Border Blades!
Bottles will be accepted at the Speed Den by the oval on January 9 from 5-7:30.
We are collecting bottles the week of January 4. Please raid the supplies of your friends and families!
Please drop off at the trailer on Monday from 5:00 – 8:30 pm or Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 pm
No sorting required, no canvassing the city as we are keeping our second attempt very simple. Remember the more each family collects the less fundraising we will still have to do!
